Tianjin,
March 14th, Xinhua News Agency (Reporters Mao Zhenhua and Wang
Jinghuai) With the closure of the production valve of Well H1 in Bai 15
Reservoir, recently, the 23rd gas production period of the gas storage
group of China National Petroleum Dagang Oilfield successfully
concluded. The cumulative gas production was 2.206 billion cubic meters,
a year-on-year increase of 16%, refreshing the record of gas production
over the years.
As
the regional regulated gas source with the largest working gas volume
and the fastest effect in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the gas
storage group of Dagang Oilfield mainly undertakes the seasonal peak
shaving and emergency gas supply tasks of natural gas in the
Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The natural gas produced can reach the
urban area of Beijing in two hours and is an important supporting
facility of the Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline.
Li
Caixiong, the secretary of the Party Committee of the Tianjin Gas
Storage Branch of Dagang Oilfield Company, said that over the years, the
gas storage group has been based on releasing the maximum potential,
and the daily gas production has successively crossed the major
thresholds of 10 million cubic meters, 20 million cubic meters, and 30
million cubic meters. Up to now, the entire group has operated safely
and steadily for 8,524 days, and the cumulative gas production over the
years has reached 33 billion cubic meters, becoming the "hardcore
responsibility" for ensuring the supply of natural gas in the
Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
During
this heating season from last winter to this spring, in the face of
consecutive low temperatures and cold waves, the gas storage group of
Dagang Oilfield attached great importance to the safe and stable supply
of natural gas, refreshing a series of records such as the new high of
gas production, the most days of high-intensity gas production, and the
highest daily gas production in history. In the production and operation
links, the production allocation was reasonably optimized, the
coordination between the upstream and downstream was strengthened, the
overall operation efficiency and gas storage and peak shaving capacity
of the group were continuously improved to meet the domestic gas
consumption and winter heating demands of residents in
Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to the maximum extent.
Currently,
Dagang Oilfield has initiated the "Three-Year Action Plan" for a
working gas volume of 5 billion cubic meters and continuously
accelerated the construction of backup storages. It is planned that by
2030, the working gas volume of the gas storage group of Dagang Oilfield
will double, continuously contributing energy power to the green and
low-carbon development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and more areas.
