On
February 25th, the demonstration meeting for the implementation plan of
the project "Key Technologies, Equipment and Demonstration Applications
for Blowout Prevention and Control of Onshore Ultra-Deep Oil and Gas
Wells" of the National Key Research and Development Program during the
"14th Five-Year Plan" was held in Beijing. This project is led by China
University of Petroleum (Beijing), and jointly tackles key problems by
10 units including China Academy of Safety Science and Technology, China
University of Petroleum (East China), CNPC Engineering Technology R
& D Company Limited, CNPC Research Institute of Safety and
Environmental Technology, Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum
Engineering Co., Ltd., PetroChina Company Limited, CNPC Chuanging
Drilling Engineering Company Limited, CNPC Engineering Materials
Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd.
The
experts of the consulting expert group of the project team include

subject and the project backbones, and more than 60 people attended the
meeting offline.
Zhang
Binchuan and Liu Zhichang delivered the welcome speeches. Academician
Su Yinao, the head of the expert group, presided over the project
implementation plan demonstration meeting. Fan Jianchun, the project
leader, made a detailed report on the project background and
significance, assessment indicators and research increments, research
content and technical routes, task decomposition and implementation
plans, organizational management mode and expected results. The heads of
each topic respectively reported on their respective research tasks and
implementation plans. The expert group formed an assessment opinion
through inquiries and discussions and unanimously agreed to pass the
implementation plan demonstration of this project and each topic.
Fan
Jianchun, on behalf of the project team members, sincerely thanked the
experts for their suggestions and opinions. He stated that the project
team will further refine the plan, accelerate the deployment, actively
organize each undertaking unit for in-depth research, quickly carry out
technical research, and complete the project goals on time, with quality
and efficiency.
