I. Properties and characteristics

SP-240 is made from cationic monomers, cationic third amine salt monomers, cationic acrylamide monomers, acrylic acids, etc. by copolymerisation. The appearance is white solid powder. The product can effectively prevent hydration and expansion of shale mud, and inhibit formation mud. In drilling fluid systems, it can reduce API and HTHP water yield, inhibit hydration, shale expansion and formation clayisation, and improve the quality of clay wall crust. The ability against temperature of this product is more than 240℃, and the ability against salt to saturated degree. The recommended dosage is 0.3%-1.0%.
