I. Properties and specificity

1.Add to drilling mud to quickly plug formation fractures, stop the spreading and tightening of fractures and channels. The fibres from the compositions can quickly adsorb and form a network on the walls and in the fractures and tubules, and the formed clay crust has a certain non-drying ability, and also make the blocking and elimination of absorption (like the action of wheat grass traction in the clay wall) to persistently stop the leakage formation, improve the ability of the walls against drilling mud washing, and reduce the risk of drilling mud washing the walls.

2.Under the action of liquid column pressure in the borehole, the drilling mud made by this product can form layers of sealants, adhesions and seals in microcracks or tubules near the walls in a short time, make large leakage small leakage, small leakage small leakage to completely eliminate leakage, form high quality and continuous slippery clay crusts with certain strength and flexibility against washing. Seal the formation channels, reduce formation filtration, prevent or stop the propagation and tightening of formation microcracks, reduce drilling fluid loss, prevent solid and liquid phases from entering the formation, stabilise the walls, plug the drilling fluid leakage path, block and seal the cracks and channels to seal and restore the walls.

3.This product can reduce the leakage volume of the whole well, reduce the time of drilling suspension and leakage sealant, broadly improve the bearing capacity of formations, increase the wall anti-implosion strength of leakage areas, raise the bearing capacity of the walls, prevent or reduce the re-leakage in drilling and consolidation of the well.

4.This product has a certain suspension and carrying ability. It can be pumped downhole before logging and running casing to carry the drill cuttings, compact the formation, reduce the loss of drilling mud during the lifting and running of drilling tools, and clean the wellbore at the same time. In addition, when drilling directional and horizontal wells, the addition of this product, on the one hand, prevents sand formation by utilising its suspending and sand-holding capacity, and at the same time adheres to the borehole walls to form a dense, smooth mud cake to seal the formation pore space and improve its bearing capacity.

5.Drilling mud compatibility and heat resistance are good (against temperature up to 200℃), no toxicity and no environmental pollution, no viscosity and shear rise, no fermentation, suitable for different kinds of wells, especially when drilling deviated and horizontal wells, no effect on sliding drilling and no interference with instrument signal transmission.

6.Added to the drilling mud after the discovery of the pay zone, this product can form an impermeable and blocking layer, prevent the introduction of solid and liquid phases from drilling mud into the pay zone, avoid the occurrence of damage to the pay zone, and this layer is eliminated by perforation and back drainage. Through the inspection and analysis of the main environmental control station of SNPS, this product is harmless and environmentally friendly.
