I.Properties and specificity
Polyanionic cellulose PAC is divided into 2 types, high viscosity (HV) and low viscosity (LV), and is widely used as thickener, rheological control agent, binding agent, stabiliser, protective colloid, suspending agent and moisture retention agent.
In the oil production industry, PAC is a good mud treatment agent and completion fluid preparation material, characterized by high claying coefficient and good salt and calcium resistance properties. In fresh water, seawater and saturated salt water drilling mud systems, it is a water-reducing agent, has good viscosity increasing ability and heat resistance (more than 150℃), and is suitable for fresh water and seawater drilling mud preparation and saturated salt water completion fluid. When weighted with calcium chloride, it can prepare completion fluid of different densities. In such a situation, the completion fluid has a certain viscosity and low filtration loss.
