I. Properties and characteristics
This product is characterised by high bitumen content, good anti-decay, blocking and water-reducing effects. Its softening point is more than 180℃, suitable for high temperature and deep wells to solve the problems of disintegration, collapse, diameter narrowing and water sensitivity. After adding the product to drilling fluid systems, clay crusts become dense and flexible. The specific functions are as follows:
1.A kind of blocking property: when the phenomenon affecting drilling safety such as caving or bit bouncing occurs, by adding this product, the stability of the well wall will be improved, the borehole will become free, the breakup and caving will be reduced and the complication situation inside the well will be alleviated.
2.Good water-reduction function:can make the clay crusts dense and flexible, and the effect of water-reduction is obvious. The penetration of free water from drilling mud into the formation is delayed. Due to the flexibility and density of clay crusts, the loss of well wall stability will be prevented, and the safety inside the well will be enhanced.
3.Oil and gas patch protection function: when drilling the oil and gas patch section, adding the product to the drilling mud, a soft ionic blocking layer was quickly formed near the walls, and the clay crusts became dense, slippery, flexible and high-strength. It has good effects of blocking, wall protection and improving wall stability. The penetration of drilling fluid filtrate and solid phases into the formation is reduced. The contamination of drilling mud and solid phases to the oil and gas formation is avoided. After completion of drilling, plugging can be removed by perforating or dissolving in crude oil.
This product is now being used on the No. 1 Shenditake 1 well (Tarim Oilfield), and can solve the problems of collapse, collapse, diameter constriction and water sensitivity.
