I.Properties and specificity

Sulfomethylated phenolic resin dry powder (SMP-Ⅰ, SMP-Ⅱ) for drilling mud is powder granules made of phenol, formaldehyde, sulfated agents and other chemical resources after re-polymerisation and sulfation, and then spray dried. It is a kind of multi-purpose agent for drilling mud treatment, has the properties of high temperature resistance, salt resistance, plays the role of reducing fluid loss, preventing disintegration and lubrication. It can form a thin and strong mud crust on the borehole wall and is the key material of "tri-sulphur" drilling fluid system. The recommended dosage is 0.5~1%.
